Our purchase of this house, as Joe May describes it, was like the confluence of two rivers, We watched as the owner completed the renovations and posted the property for sale. We invited him to dinner and announced our intention of buying this house and explained how it would be put to use. Then came the question of the night from the owner; "Do you have any money?" Sister Catherine replied; "No, we don't have the money, but it will come". He thank us for dinner and wished us "good luck". Concurrently, a gentleman came to Sr. Catherine to offer that if we ever wanted to buy a second house he would provide the down payment. He was unaware of our desire to purchase this new house. Of course the owner was astonished when we agreed on a price and proceeded with the purchase! Clearly the work of the Holy Spirit!
